The Museum of Broken Relationships

No worries. Everything’s fine between the two of us. Ok, there might be an argument every now and then but so far nothing near a breakup 😉 So what’s this post about? When we arrived in Zagreb two weeks ago the first thing we noticed were the many young courting couples in the park opposite to the train station. So maybe it’s no surprise that this city holds the Museum of Broken Relationships too.

Strolling through the upper old town of Zagreb we happened to walk into this curious little museum by coincidence and decided to give it a visit. It holds a collection of items that people from all over the world have sent in after their relationship had ended. Accompanied with mostly funny, and sometimes heartbreaking stories behind the breakup. Here’s a photo gallery to give you an impression:
